Hedgerow Herb Blend

A blend of dried herbs and wild plants rich in naturally occurring minerals, trace elements and other plant ingredients such as chlorophyll, volatile oils, fiber and vitamins. Will help keep your rabbits in top condition.

Dose: Feed a pinch per day, smaller for dwarf breeds.
Contains: Agrimony, Borage, Chickweed, Cleavers, Coltsfoot, Comfrey, Dandelion, Golden Rod, Kelp, Lemon Balm, Marshmallow, Melilot, Nettle, Plantain, Raspberry Leaf, Red Clover, Shepherd's Purse and Yarrow. Or any combination of the above depending on what is available.

Brood Blend

Combine: ¼ tsp. fennel seed, ¼ tsp. parsley, ¼ tsp. wheat germ in 1 Tbsp. applesauce.
Dose: Feed for three days prior to breeding, and two days after.

Fennel- appetizing, anti inflammatory
Parsley* - a stimulant for Bucks and Does when fed 10 days prior to and during mating; increases egg and sperm count- avoid high doses until late pregnancy as it is also womb stimulant- diuretic, reduces muscle tension & spasm, increases milk supply.
Wheat Germ- contains beneficial vitamins, minerals and oils.


*Note: Do not feed Parsley to stock already known to have large litters.

Immune Blend

Natural support for the immune system in times of stress.

Dose: Feed a small pinch per day, adjusting to size of your rabbit breed.
Contains: Oats, Borage, Echinacea, Golden Rod and Nettles.

Mother's Blend

Tonic blend to condition pelvic muscles, ease labor and support lactation. The Doe's just love this!

Dose: 1 large pinch each day, depending on size of rabbit, starting one week before kindling, continuing through the first month.
Contains: Goat's Rue, Milk Thistle Seed, Nettle and Raspberry Leaf. Store in cool, dry location out of direct sun.

Goat's Rue - ensures healthy milk for the Kits.
Milk Thistle Seeds - safe for rabbits of all ages, but particularly good for nursing Does; promotes the flow of bile, supports lactation, and soothing.
Nettle - valuable tonic food especially convalescent stock; high in protein and iron, high in calcium for fur and bone health. diuretic and astringent.
Raspberry Leaf - strengthens and tones tissue of the womb, eases labor and supports lactation; high in calcium, Vitamins A and C, manganese for good growth; cooling, astringent and parturient.
